Recipe Management in Infor M3 for process and food and beverage industry

Do anyone have any documents on how the Infor M3 handle Recipe management, which is useful for process industry (e.g. Food and Beverages) ? I am new to Infor M3, so would like to study on that.

Or any place that I can find those types of information ?

If you're really set on using M3 only for this, make sure to look at:

Product Structure Class with Versioning
Yield Quantities and/or Percentage BoM
Scrap & Waste

This might allow you to get close to where you need to be.

M3 doesn't have a dedicated module for Recipe Management. In general, ERP products are not as flexible as PLM software for Recipe Management. If you are not going with a PLM software for this supplement work, then Product structure (BoM), Versioning, % BoM, M3 Formula etc.. have to be configured to this activity. This also has some limitations may or may not cover all business requirements.

Yes, I'm aware of the Infor online documentation, but didn't think it will contain much about it. I'll have a look anyway.
