Inventory Allocations

Is there any company that is using an inventory allocation?

We are in Infor and would like to set up an allocation to allocate supplies to locations. The issue is that as backorders are coming in they are filled they are filling Clinics first and we would like to be able to prioritize that or allocate that back order stock to the main hospital's.

Not sure how to do this automatically, but you could manually change the priorities in Manage Demand Lines under Warehouse Clerk.  I believe that would do the trick if you are setup to allocate based on Priority.  If you wanted Requesters to have the option of setting their own priority then you could choose to display the Priority field in RSS.

In the Inventory Company setup you have two options for allocating supplies.  By Date or By Priority.  We are setup by Priority, but we don't display that field in RSS and by default they all have the same priority.
