Module: Customer Order Processing

Enhance length of customer order type (OIS010)

Details:

“The actually length of the customer order type in OIS010 is limited to 3 characters, which actually limits us to bring a logic into the code of the customer order type.

We have e.g. cash on delivery orders, pick up orders and "normal orders" - all of these three business cases requires different settings in the customer order type.

AND settings can be different from division to division due to other needs, that means that we have to code the division into the CO type and then a code for the business case (03 = pick up order; 05 = cash on delivery and so on).

Batch orders via MI would also require probably other settings in the CO type and therefore it multiplies the above-mentioned logic.”
