Mfg Code & Mfg number in PO25.6

When I tried to add the Mfg Code & number to PO 25.6, Lawson gave me an error saying "Cannot add item; you must update info on Item Master." Does anyone add the Mfg Code and number to PO25.6?

We do not add mfg codes or numbers to PO25.6. I believe you are referring to the Item Detail button that takes you to PO25.8.

Diane, We do not add the mfg. codes or numbers to the PO25 either. We do update the manufacturer information in the PO13.3

Diane: My coworker has begun adding that informtion on PO25.6 and it creates the PO13.3 record. However, we did have to have Service Pack 10 in the system before it worked.

Only when using Add-ins for PO25.6, this will add PO13.3 complete with mfg info.
