Combining Raw Material costs & freight costs

Hi

In past most of our raw material purchased included the freight cost but we are now have more purchases where it is not.

Looking for suggest/solutions to combine the cost of freight, customs/brokerage charges & raw material cost together as the cost of the raw material.

Does anyone use the function where you can combine two invoices?  If so any issues with this?

I'm sorry you didn't get any reply 2 years ago.  We don't directly charge freight to our raw materials.  We instead use purchase burden to cover the cost of freight.  We check to see if the 2.5% charged is effectively covering our freight on a yearly basis.

Theoretically you could create a "Rework" work order to issue the raw material to and receive the raw material from the co-products to add additional costs to the work order that would flow to the raw material received.  But that is a messy solution.
