Does anyone know if it is possible to have the shipment number be the freight PO number? The way we have our freight purchase agreements set-up the PO is not created until after the shipment is shipped and processed, so the logistics carriers do not know the PO number when invoicing us. It makes it time consuming for AR to look up the shipment number and corresponding PO.

Hi Ty,

Try to turn off the Freight Purchase Order Type's auto receipt and use Event Hub to trigger a Mec mapping when a new Freight PO is created. Receive the Freight PO with PPS001MI/Receive and enter whatever reverence number you have given to the freight forwarder in the SUDO field. That I believe should help your AP department to match the invoice to the PO.
