Can you help me with an example How can we get list of records from M3 ION API call within IoN workflow?

either using the loop back node or any other workaround

i need to Call MNS100MI to get the list of divisions and pass it one by one to another API in ION workflow

Hi @aabdelaziz

We can't loop and process an xml response in workflow, if there is the possibility of using the dataflow for your solution then you can use a splitter that will eventually split the BOD in the repetitive element and can be forwarded to Workflow.

It seem strange that we can't "loop" through records in the workflow. This is very limiting when I want to query out multiple records to update.

I understand how to use a BOD, but it seem weird that we would have to do this, since we can extract the Resultset in JSON format.

If I can just use the JSON to loop through the "records" it should be fine.

Maybe I can use a 'Python Script' for this, I will try.

I have created a workflow that loops through all records returned from MITBAL (MMS002), JSON response, and checks if it's a valid Item and the sets the Item/Whs record to Sts=80.

Not sure if there's a reason this should be done in a BOD instead of a Workflow, but this seem to be a good way to me.

Looks useful. Can I ask how you counted the records in the the mitbal api output ? Is that in the script you have in the flow ?

Good one Rene, After infor introduced the Script in workflow it gave more flexibility to work.
