unknown
This entry is by default set to =NO, can anyone advise what are the consequences of setting this to =YES?

As far as I can ascertain, if you set it to YES then any data commits by the SOP Processing form (for example the creation, updating and deletion of SOP documents) will also do a Visual FoxPro 'FLUSH' command afterwards. That's the only area it affects.

So would not have any effect P/L postings (V7.21.00)?

Nope. It looks like it was added as a result of a specific SCR which presumably related to SOP.

Alan,
Any idea what the SCR was. We have a large site where occasionally itran/cname fails to update the header record and we have to foxfix it to make it useable. Sounds like the Flush ensures all records are updated. Assume it doesn't noticably slow the posting process.

Thanks Alan
Looks like this option isn't going to help with P/L postings taking up to half hour to appear after been posted.

Hi Kiran, not sure if are using Prospects CRM product but this is notorious for corrupting the CNAME, SNAME and IHEAD files. Their ODBC connector to the Opera database does not work 100%

This problem was resolved with the application of the Microsoft patch for write delay issues (SMB)

Hi Simon,
Can you please advise which patch you applied so we can advise others if the issue occurs again?
Many thanks
