Odd situation here - hoping someone else has seen this. We are archiving work units (using the Lawson utility called from a process flow) and I can't under the counts I'm seeing. It appears there are big gaps in work unit numbers. We used the workunit range of 381,851 - 546,180 to delete. We are only deleting one work unit type - those for the ereq approval flow. Someone on my team ran the archive and prior to archiving we copy all the workunits (to be archived) to a backup table. We expected about 164,000 to be deleted. Only 2,929 were archived. I then ran SQL against the remaining workunits in that range and there were only 4,809. So the total, before archive, was 7,738 work units - but the range is allowing for 164,329. I have no idea what explains the discrepancy in the work unit numbers? There are definitely gaps in the numbering - I can see that now that I'm looking closely at them. Why would that be? I did open a ticket with Infor - but they can't explain it. I'm going to send screen shots showing the gaps in work units numbers. Has any one seen this? We only have on production area and we have contract management also. We haven't done any kind of copy to our production environment (Support said a copy could cause gaps). Thanks in advance for any ideas!
