CPV (Consumer Product Variant) management with M3

Hello

Has anybody implemented CPV management in M3 ? 

It means there is a slight modification in the product visual, not enough important to create a new GTIN13, but the CPV code should be communicated to the customer through DESADV Message, segment PIA.
