Hello,
I am having an issue were qty on a BOM and not multiplying based off qty of the assembly. Below I have qty 5ea of 630437 but I am only seeing demand for 1 ea 900095.
Hey, Nick - this can be caused by the material card having a fixed quantity instead of a quantity per. Also, if you ever run into an issue where all the material cards are multiplying by a different quantity that is due to change to the scrap/yield in the operation card. Hope that helps!
Marc,
Thanks but those seem to be good. I am only using the qty per.
Nick,
Was the Workorder scheduled?
Craig,
Good question. I assumed if it was open it was scheduled. How do i tell?
I went looking and it was the status of the work order. Wasn't released..
Thank you
I suspect is is probably not the issue, but wanted to make sure you recalculate quantities under the edit menu. This happens automatically on exit so suspect it's not it.
I have seen that if you have change a quantity in a BOM and don't recalculate manually, and if the program crashes before you exit, it never recalculates and can carry the original quantity. You can try changing the quantity on any part, and then manually recalculate and see if that fixes it.
