We have customers globally and experience problems with proper address formats specifically because the field ZipCode is limited to 10 characters. Some countries use more than 10, Turkey for example. While I realize we can redirect ADDR3 as a "zipcode", I would prefer not to do that as it is in use in many cases.
Has anyone encountered this? If so, what was your solution? I am considering simply expanding the ZipCode field in a test database, but I have no idea what that may break and assume there is error checking code that would need to be modified also.
Raising this issue with Infor, they basically said "If you pay for it, we can fix it.". Seems that a company positioning a product as a global player would fix this instead of leaning on a single customer to fund the fix.
