Does anyone have the VMIMAGE.BMP file specs for use in Visual QRPs?

Marketing wants to update our logo. They've converted the artwork to BMP format. Typically I just rename the logo file to VMIMAGE but it is not working. The printed image is just 'noise'.

I know the logo cannot be "too large", but can't find if this refers to image dimensions (x pixels high by x pixels wide), and/or file size.

Does anyone know what the limits are for the logo file?

good question. i shrink my logo (dimensions not exact, but close) so it fits nicely in the predesignated area of the standard QRPs.

I think the original infor logo was 64x64. I have ours set to 100x100 and believe it works. In the QRP, I have the image size set to 0.5x0.5" and the scale set to "Size To Fit". I do remember it taking some work to get it to look right.

I am using 200x200 8bit and size it typically at .75 x.75 shrink-to-fit

The file size must be less than roughly 64 KB (65,536 bytes). Limiting the colors to 16 (4 bit color depth) should help achieve the small file size.

The file size of our new logo may be the issue. Daniel is correct, the original Infor logo is 64x64 at 13KB.

Our working logo is 536x224 at 59KB. The new one, that doesn't work, is 536x224 at 472KB. We'll have to adjust the new one a little.
