M3 ST Cloud: How to upload a .txt file into an sFTP folder using M3 H5 Web SDK

Hi,

We are developing an H5 SDK application where with the values from the Screen a .txt file is created.

That .txt file we want to send to an sFTP folder so that third party application can pick up.

I need to know the ideas and what are the possibilities.

Has anybody done this kind of use case ?

As You know FTP / SFTP is not possible in Javascript.

In general Apps, You must Upload the file <input type='file'/> and after process it on Server (eg. Servlet, C#)

In H5, The best solution is use Mongoose or other WebApp.

Greetings;

The first thought that comes to mind would be to use an XTendM3 API call to write the file to the BE file system. You then could use ION Desk to pickup the file from the BE file system to deliver it to the FTP/SFTP server in question.

My second thought, would be a little different. Write the records to say CUGEX1 using the CUSEXTMI/AddField MI, then use a custom MEC map to write the records formatted to the file to the BE file system. I haven't personally tried this approach, but someone told me MEC in MT could write to the BE file system. Then of course, use the same steps in ION Desk to deliver.

Not possible in MT and ST. The machines are always different.
