As we approach rolling out M3 to one of our largest divisions, we are working on updating our Policy and Procedures around “segregation of duties” in the business areas. Like someone shouldn’t have the role to “add suppliers / vendors” and also the ability to “create purchase orders”.
Would anybody have to share M3 documentation that describes “segregation of duties” in the business from the M3 perspective?
- At the minimum, it would be helpful to have a list of all the consolidated roles / privileges in M3 (and then we go decide which two shouldn’t go together)
- At the maximum, it would be great if there was a listing of them already organized where “you really shouldn’t put these two together”. (I remember working with Oracle that there was some documentation they had that spelled out all the roles / privileges).
