Looking for some Crystal help on a report-PO RETURN LN
Legacy Contributor
I inherited a Crystal report that tracks PO items per month. However it never looked at the canceled qtys or returns. I was attempting to add this in but I am a self-taught Crystal user at about 3rd grade level. Can anyone take a look and offer some guidance?

The IF statement is saying only use the formula {POLINE.QUANTITY} - {POLINE.CXL_QTY} - {PORETURNLN.RETURN_QTY} to determine the PO line qty if the PO date falls in December 2014. Can I ask why your PO line qty is date dependent? Could there be a record selection formula limiting your results to PO dates outside of December 2014?

We are looking at PO totals per month. Here is a snapshot. So you think if the cancel or returns are not done in Dec14 it causes a null value?

I'm not understanding why there's an IF statement to calculate PO line qty. It's basically saying only give me a qty if the PO date is in December 2014. If the PO date is outside of December 2014 then you want the qty to be zero.

Can you post a screen capture of the formula fields and the record selection formulas?
Or better yet, just send me the report. jon.athey@midmichigan.org
