How can I get a list of filenames out of IDM?

Good Saturday all,

 

I hope everyone is doing well!

 

We just loaded a ton of documents into IDM and I’m not sure they all went in.

 

Is there a quick way for me to get a list of everything (i.e. all the file names) in IDM so I can do a cross reference and confirm?

Hi Steve,

I can think three ways. 

1. The fastest - easiest, is through database query if you have access. Each library is stored as a separate table so it's pretty straight forward to get what you want.

2. You can use idm api to get xml with all properties/attributes of the items of one library. Items/searchItemsApi may suit you.

3. The other one is to create a result list for your library containing the property filename. Then just search the entire library, select view as details and you'll see filename at a column. Although it doesn't have an export, you can copy paste the list to excel (assuming there are few pages)
