par ordering stock outs
yvonne-grondin
Does anyone have a Crystal report for to show items ordered equal to par or a within a threshold? We have an expense departments utilizing handhelds for par ordering but no Lawson reports that are helpful with identifying stockouts within the department for stock and nonstock items.
I appreciate any input!
Thanks
Yvonne

There are a few reports that you might find helpful:
IC182 Par Location Utilization
IC220 Transaction History Report
IC243 Killed Item Report
IC282 Requesting Location Usage

I just sort of threw this together. Is this close to what you're looking for?

Hi Jon,
This is heading in the right direction since it is capturing "N" type items for par carts. The items where the ROP is 100% will provide a stock out situation in the expense department. This is good. Is this in Crystal?
The other scenario is items that are non-stock and obsolete. Items on a par cart but no order history in a range of time. Do you have reports for that scenario?
Good stuff and thanks for sharing!

Yes that was done with Crystal

IC182 as Stace mentioned will tell you which items have no activity for a given date range. But I do have a nice report that gives recommended par levels based on usage over a given date range. It calculates par levels for 14 or 21 days on hand. But only for those items that have activity.
