Sending Email Statements in Opera 3 VFP

Hi Everyone

We are seeing a number of sites just recently where they can email maybe one or two statements and then they get the dreaded "Unable to email" message and no further emails will go.

Has anyone seen a recurrence of this as I know it used to be a real issue years ago, but it seems to be coming back to bite us.

Anyone got any ideas of how to track down the point of failure? Done all the usual such as Admin rights on PC, run Opera and Outlook as administrator etc and still no difference. Also the fact that is sends the first one or two is the real oddity.

So, hoping for some magic inspiration please?

IIRC if you log into Opera as ADMIN then you get a more descriptive message when it fails, maybe that will help. Bearing in mind that it might show the layout for editing for each statement when logged in as ADMIN, so don’t send 500 !

hi we saw this on one of our sites & it wasnt that clear at first, but it was asking for the Outlook profile to be selected - their IT "did something" to resolve this, but Im not entirely sure what Im afraid

Is it always the same account(s) that it fails on? Is it the same problem on another PC? If the answers are Yes and then No respectively, I think it will be Windows User Profile corruption. Seen emailing not sending from a specific PC for specific Ledger account(s) but fine on another PC...hence corrupt Windows Profile was replaced.

If not, follow the other advice being given....login into Opera as ADMIN being the option to give more details, as has been said already etc
