XRL error message when using XRL

Hi i was wondering if anyone has come across this before? We had this on one site about a month ago.

When launching XRL it is looking for a file called "company".dbo. It was working on other machines. Pegasus said it wasnt one of their files & so it was an IT issue, but were getting this on a totally different site. We never got to the bottom of this on the first site & the user decided that they didnt really need XRL, so we abandoned this but could do with getting this sorted & cant think of anything[View:/cfs-file/__key/communityserver-discussions-components-files/35/CIS.docx:320:240]

If you log into windows as a different user eg the administrator, it looks in the administrators user folder

We have tried the usual, reinstalling etc, but it just does the same thing

I assume you checked the CIS database had been created as part of setting up the serduct? You can see it in the Infor folders so worth checking it has sensible size etc?

The .dbo would indicate it is something SQL Server related i.e. it is the default schema. Are you using XRL against Opera SE or Opera SQL?

I find it odd that Pegasus did not identify the 'company' file to be one of their own.

It is needed when using XRL with CIS.

Unlike lsDatabase.mdb it cannot be held simply in a shared server folder, but has to exist on the client PC that wants to run XRL.

The Companies.mdb file will need to exist in the following folder on the client PCs:

C:Program Files (x86)InforQuery and AnalysisSettingsLsAlchemyCIS

I suggest you run the following, as this will create and/or update the Companies.mdb file as necessary.

Run Infor - Maintenance - Client Setup - CIS - Install - Update settings and close

Hi all. This customer has XRL licenced for Opera and CIS. The Opera one works fine. The CIS link is connected to Companies .mdb as is standard.

Their CIS is a SQL version and works fine in itself.

The problem occurs when you create a formula e.g. Detailed List, from the CIS data. When you slect Ok to run the report it says

Product=CIS Platform=Access Table=JF1

Error -2147467259 Could not find file 'C:\UsersusernameDocumentsXXXXX.dbo

where XXXXX is the SQL database name

We don't understand why it is looking for a dbo file and why it is looking in that location.
