Near Real Time Adhoc Reporting

We would like to know what reporting tools other Finance Departments are using to develop near-time Adhoc reports?  

Is anyone using third-party reporting tools such as Spreadsheet Server, Vena, or others to access Infor Financial data from either the FSM tables, BI Data Cubes or Birst Datalake?

Are other sites using an External Data Warehouse? If so, was it custom developed or a third-party vendor?

We are an Infor Multi-Tenant client.

We use a locally hosted Data Warehouse (SQL Server) that we developed internally.  We also have an internally developed reporting tool that serves reports from the Data Warehouse and our non Infor Budgeting system.  We built our own data synchronization process using ION API.  Our volume of changes is low so synch time is minutes.  We have been live for about 1 1/4 years and it's worked well.  We also use Landmark reporting, BI, ISD, all the available Infor real time/near real time reporting tools.
