Custom fields and UETs not refreshing in Multi-Site forms

We just found out that Multi-Site forms do not work properly with custom fields, whether they are UETs or not…
For instance if we add the Tax-related fields from Vendors into Multi-Site Vendors form, the field will not update/refresh properly…
Same if we add a custom UET field in Multi-Site Items form.
According to Infor, this would be “working as designed”… (oh, the nerve)

How do you deal with this issue?
We started using a custom SP to force the refresh… but that’s probably not the best option.
(yes IDO Method instead of SP would be a start, but any other idea?)

We don't use the Multi-Site Vendors form, but I might have a suggestion. If the Multi-Site Form is going to pull data in from all of your sites, then it's probably referencing your _all tables or the database views. Did you try running Replication Management and View Management after you added the field? Also, are you running a common Objects & Forms DB or one per site?

Do you have any customization on a Multi-Site xyz form? If seems the issue is linked to adding IDO Properties in the main collection... so if you managed to add any property in your form collection in a MultiSite* form, then please let me know if you had any specific trick to make it work. (multi-site: Items, Vendors, Customers, Ship-Tos, etc.)

We'll test the repl/view/trigger regen.
We're single-DB multisite (only 1 _App + 1 _Forms + 1 _Objects DB for all sites).
