- Are you using DataLYNX to capture Item Descriptions in an automated manner?
- Are you using DataLYNX to capture additional Item Master attributes such as perhaps UNSPSC, PSC (product spend category), Latex indicator, Implant?
- Or are you only using DataLYNX to identify Specials to be added to the item master, or duplicate items?
We are seeing 20% of the items being requested as part of the item master request process, that are medical - surgical supplies to not be included in DataLYNX. As we work with our DataLYNX team, they work to have the missing items added to DataLYNX but that process as it takes 5-9 days is not sufficient to support the item master process.
