Object Types / Mapping: requisition header text

Hi,

I would like to make the text stored in the header of the requisition (tdpur200.txta) available for our requisition-workflow (TDREQ) as attribute. It doesn't work with direct field mapping.

Is there any way to extract at least the first 50 characters of text during the mapping and pass it to the workflow as attribute?

You'll have to create a DLL and add that as a mapping to a new attribute for the workflow.

Can you help me a bit more with the DLL? My problem is that in the tttxt010 table the text field itself is encoded. How can I decode it? Is there a standard function in DLL for decoding text? Or can you know what kind of coding this is?
