Requisition Import

The requisition import Business Class does not have a place to hold procedure information (e.g. Lot, Serial number, physician, nurse... etc). Has anyone been able to interface requestions with medical procedure information? FYI we are not using technical bridge.

Requisition Line includes the Procedure information (if turned on for Requester), We upload the procedure information for Bill Only Requisitions using ISD.

Hey Everyone,

Were there any other users that imported their requisitions using Requisition Import with Procedure Details?

Typically this would be used with another surgery order program that would interface order details from their program into Infor.

We do not see a way to import this information from one system to another.

We are interested in trying to make this work as well. Are you looking at using Clinical Bridge to carry over the Procedure info?

Hey Gretchen, we are not using Clinical Bridge. We are using TrackCore.

i am not sure about the clinical bridge but I am pretty sure the standard IMPORT files for Requisition and Requisition line does not include the required fields for Patient Procedure. That said I figured a way to do it with the IPA.

Assuming the Requisition interface file includes the Patient Produced information you can do the following:
1. Before you create the requisition line add node to create the Patient Procdure into the Patient Procedure Business Class, which is part of the IC moduile. When you create the Patient procedure do not include the requisition line or the requistion itself, just the patient procedure information. Also do not try to assign the Patient Procedure number, the creation actioon will automatically assigned the Patient Procedure number
2. The node used to create the Patient Procedure will return the Patient Procedure number.
3. Now create the requistion line and make sure you update the following fields:

The RequestionImport business class has a field named Patient Procedure, use the number generated above to update this field.
You must Update the FromComoanyLocationBin.FromCompany with the requisition Company as well. That is the key to a relation setup for Requestion Line and that is how the Requisition will be tied to the patient Procedure.

There is one drawback however.

If for any reason you deleted the Requisition Import before it is fully interfaced it will leave the Patient Procedure Record Orphan. While it will have no impact on business logic or system processes it is still bad record setting idle in the database.
