M3 - Show unallocated lines on dispatch note, without using backorders.

Hi all,

If a CO has some lines at status 22 (unallocated) and the order is dispatched, the delivery lines for these unallocated order lines are removed.

The XML that is passed to Storyteller is based of the delivery table, so only passed the allocated & picked lines (status 44).

Has anyone come up with a way to show these unallocated / unfulfilled / status 22 lines on a dispatch note?

Note: because of a few reasons we are unable to use backorders.

We have tried joining the order lines to the delivery lines in the XML setup, but because you cannot filter the non-primary table, we end up with all the order lines repeated for every delivery line, and the file size has blown out and makes the storyteller setup much more challenging.

The business case for this is that our customers want to know what has not been supplied.

Hi Iain,

in my 13.2 environment (including Streamserve with streamfiles) there is a setting call "Document variant" in the MWs010/E-Dispatch Policy.
When selecting Document variant = 01, then the unallocated lines are included in the streamfile. Not sure if this applies to storyteller as well, but maybe it helps.
