MSCM / FSM - V11 - Processing Warehouse PIckTickets via handhelds

Our hospital currently is processing pick tickets is in a 'somewhat automated' fashion. We run our Pick List Print, Our Batch Feedback and our Shipment Release for Pick tickets all at the same time when the tickets print. Our techs then go pull the stock from the shelves. Our jobs run every 10 minutes right now.

We are looking to move more of a process where the the tickets no longer actually print, but they select the items to picked from the held held devices and then release them and the shipments print once they picking is complete from the handheld device.

Anyone have any guidance or setup information they would be willing to share with us as we look to move to this pick and release process vs a release then pick process?

Hi JimmieSmith

Adjusting the Warehouse Picklist Print job to only run to create the requisitions into shipments is all you will need to do to make this work on the FSM side. You will need to remove Shipment Release and Batch Feedback job as you will be doing this on the HH. Within MSCM ensure that the configurations for Picking is set to your liking and you can begin using the HH to perform picking.

Thank you Mario - I didn't think this would be that difficult unless it was a timing issue between MSCM and FSM since we are used a 10 min cycle right now and FSM/MSCM may not run that quickly in the cloud and we cannot control the frequency on MT.

By default MSCM checks every 10 minutes to see if any new shipments are available in FSM for MT clients. If you are using 10 minutes intervals for the Warehouse Picklist Print job that will fine with no issues.

Should the ticket automatically print when I send them back or do I have still have run the feedback jobs in FSM?
