We've been notified by some vendors stating they will no longer include a packing slip with their shipments and the package label will contain a QR code that can be scanned to retrieve a packing slip from the web. Our workflow currently is to scan packing slips into MHC after verifying the goods which is pretty easy with a paper slip but this QR code process would add a lot of steps and additional hardware/functionality in order to get a paper packing slip for verification.
Is anyone else dealing with this and has a good RAD workflow in place they'd be willing to share?
