Pegasus Doc Manager OCR issues
Our clients are wanting to scan their signed delivery notes & index them in a batch into opera. They dont want to pay for bar-coding & the Kofax licences, so the advanced document manager has been suggested, so that they can scan one document in & it will save something unique e.g the deliver note number - does anyone have any experience in this field?
We were hoping it would read say the document & or delivery note number, then they could retrieve it by searching for this.
What we're finding is that for the doc no "DOC000001" it is totally hit & miss what it does. It saves it as "D0COOO0001" or something, i.e gets the zeros mixed up with "O"'s....or sometimes it will save DEL2178978 as DEL217
We have tried increasing the font, or making it bold, but it doesn't seem to improve the OCR.
