When using the mass updates available, it is EXTREMELY easy to update more records than intended. We have done this a few times unfortunately.
For example, earlier this week when intending to update the replenishment vendor for a single item, by mistakenly NOT populating the item field, in error, I updated over 45,000 records instead of 3 records.
There is no report generated that I could find showing me what records were changed. I was able to undo the change, but it occurred during a heavy ordering time and created a mess.
Create a popup message indicating the number of records that would be updated when the request is processed BEFORE updating. Also, create a report that can be exported to Excel in the instance that changes need to be undone when the job is run incorrectly.
