Emailing attachments from Opera - Attachment not sent.

Just received an issue from a customer who's advised that when sending emails from Opera with attachments, the attachments are not sent. Tested toggling the option "Edit in outlook before sending" but the attachment is not present on the email when received, and adding it manually in outlook will not register it in Opera.

Anyone got any resolutions/advise?

Afternoon all,

Still struggling with this issue if anyone has any suggestions (literally ANY would be good!).

The customer is using Outlook 2010 32-bit with Exchange.
Windows firewall is off.
Outlook add-ins are disabled.
User is a local administrator.

He can send an email from Opera contacts processing with 'edit in outlook' on. He gets a security message in Outlook to which he clicks Allow (a program is trying to access email address information stored in outlook). The email then appears but without the attachment.

I have tested this level of security on my local version of Outlook and I can still email with attachments.

Any advice much appreciated,

I would try the trial version of ClickYes Pro. If that works he may have to spring for the full version.

Is the attachment present on the draft?
Is the attachment present in the Sent Items?
Does he have A/V installed?
What happens if he sends to himself or a test (e.g. gmail) account?

They did have ClickYes installed, recently stopped working. I have suggested the Pro version which they are still debating.

The attachment does not show on the draft email, nor does it get sent. I believe they do have AV installed but with the appropriate Opera exclusions. I asked him to test sending an email with attachment to himself but the same issue occurs, no attachment.

That is weird. Perhaps you could knock up a little program to test creating an email with attachment (I think Opera uses MAPI) so you can separate it into either an Outlook or Opera problem? Divide and conquer!
