Send emails to employees in a Transition Group

Is it possible to have an email go to everyone that is in a transition group to let them know there is a new task that needs to be assigned?

Also, if a member of the group completes the task but does not go in and complete out the task in Manage Transition, is there a way to autocomplete that they were notified?

To notify employees who are in the “transition program” -- an email template needs to be set up then it needs to be attached to the actual task that was built. There are other customizations that can be set up to like restricting what sort of resources can participate in the transition program, the calculation method at which to send out the emails as well.

The administrator who set up the transition task to go in and auto complete the task for the employee: you have to go to the dashboard, find the employee, click on them, go into their “tasks” and select from the drop down “complete”

What about members of a Transition Group. I was testing and when the task is assigned to a group, it shows as unassigned until someone goes in an accepts it. How can I get the Group members to receive an email that there is a task for them to complete?

You have to set up the email template and attach it to the task before you assign the task to a group. If you are just in the testing phase, you will just need to delete the assigned employees transition tasks first, go back and attach the email template to the task, then resend to the whole group. Then they will all get the email to go in and complete a transition task.
