Weird Message on every entity

HI all,

We are getting a weird message when accessing each entity regarding the max number of favorite groups. Then it shows that the max number of favorite groups is 0 and that I have to consider to reduce it. Besides this annoying message, I cannot set any group as visible as I looks like it fails to save that data to. If I check the entity directly in the database, I can see that it is set to 30 (default value) by the way. If following the help I try to modify that value at Administration/Office Profile, when I try to access the Office profile I got an error and cannot access the detail page.

Any idea of what can be happening? If I compared the data in the BRANCHOPTIONS table with another database the record looks the same.

Ruben, out of interest is this SQL or Oracle?

SQL Server. We already reported this in support and they cannot reproduce it. This is happening with the demo database and according to my colleague is the standard 8.4.01 (something like that) with the demo database.

You might also try a nuke/pave deployment to completely clear out the root files. We have seen this sporadically, but there has not been a magic wad solution. Nuke/Pave = Open Application Architect, clean build folders, close AA, reset IIS, clear c:intepubwwroot folder contents for sdata and slxclient. run a new full build and deploy all portals. Clear cache on browser.
