error 42 line 12825 sme997

i reviewed all postings on support portal, none helped.  This is when we hit payment we get the error and the sidebar is not even present.  any help would be great.  tried this below but then get E65

In SOCA20, change line 32002;

From:    32002 local _no_prep=1,_emode

To:          32002 local _no_prep=1,_emode,_using_side_bar=0

We ran into this error a couple of years ago. Adding this line to SME997 will solve the problem.

If you have a customer who currently has this error, here are steps to gracefully get out of the error:

1) Break out to a prompt (change users 'allow command mode' setting in user code f/m if needed)
2) exit - to get out of the error routine and back to SME997.
3) goto 12860 (this should be the 'return' line.
4) do what you need to do to drop the command mode window and continue running the program.
5) Change the user code back to not have command line access if you had to change it.
