Does anyone have their PO numbers starting with letters? I'm not seeing that it's an option to do this and have the PO numbers be automated. We've always started our different companies' POs with the number that coincides so it is easy to know what company a requester is referencing. Example - company 400 POs are in a sequence that started with 4000000, company 200 is 2000000, etc. The problem we're currently encountering is that our finance department has setup company 110 but since we already have a company 100, we can't start the POs with a 1 without causing confusion and duplication.
Ideally, we'd like to start our PO numbers for this new company with INF and then have the numbers follow. Example - INF1000000 and increase automatically with the INF staying constant for all PO numbers.
