GLS640 - Does anyone know how to configure the layout documents (PDF/Excel) of General Legder Print?

Hello Community,

I raised this question because whenever we are print the documents mentioned (PDF/Excel) for the GLS640 transaction we revieve in our inboxes a PDF file that has a determined layout and also an Excel file in the same situation.

Is it possible to transfor these layouts and add information? Mainly to the Excel file?
We need to add the accounting object, the movement description and some other information that is actually avialable in M3.

We are present in the Portuguese market and most of the accounting configuration and parameter was performed by us on our implementation partner.

Any contribution is much appreciated.

Hello Telmo,

If you are running M3 Cloud Edition, you could take advantage of configurable output management capabilities in order to add new data into your XML output file, since GLS640 is already available at program CMS005.

Hello.

I recommend KB 2217084 for Financials 4.0.

The attachment "configurable xml.zip" in the KB provides an excellent guide to how make you own / modify standard Excel reports (CSV output) from M3. I had a bit of a struggle making it work in the start, but I think it is a great tool and have used it for small modifications to standard reports in different projects.
