Hi all,we need to filter lines in OIS301 by Order types. We have different order types for different line of businnes ( example Machines or Spare Parts ) Can anyone help us?
thank's in advance .
best regards
Hi there,Are you working with M3 cloud edition?
Have you tried creating a view on CRS020?
Best Regards.
Create a NEW Sort Order in CRS021 for OOLINE and have Order Type as the FIRST Sort Field.
Then base a NEW Sort Order for OIS301 in CRS022 on this and set 'no. filters'='1'
do yourself a favor and use OIS302 instead.. way easier to connect tables and create views. and we have already been informed that we SHOULD use OIS302 instead by Infor.
Still same answer.
Kinda.. it depends on how experienced the OT is with such things.
Hi ,
thank's for the answer but my problem is to create a filter with order type of oohead ( NOT ooline ).
We need to work with OOLINE ( OIS301/OIS302 ) using as filter OAORTP ( OOHEAD )
Best regards
The order type is also on the line
Yes , but this field in my data base is empty and I don't know WHY !
that field is always empty in OOLINE. I have the same issue in Pfaudler.
I thought it was a partial programming from Infor
I have an ER with Infor to resolve this. Please feel free to Vote so we can get this escalated.Enhancement Request - 75422 - CMS010 / CMS015 Allow Filtering on joined Tables (not Master) (infor.com)
i think voting is disabled for that one
We had cases like that and we used IES (Enterprise Search). Yo can search and join with related tables. Do yo have IES?
Search via Key search (CMS030 setup) is the best solution in these cases. That gives very good performance and allows parallel filtering in multiple tables.
Hi,
yes we have ! I will investigate … because at the moment we have never use this feature .
Please see Kb 1687355 for additional information about M3 function search.
If you never configured it, could be complex to you. But feel free to ask. Also Magnus T shared a good a good KB. But I think that it do not explain the LCM part to crawl the table, but there are a lot of information on InforXtreme.
Just an example of the sarch with IES:
Key search is not something you add in a table. Key search is something you define vi the function CMS030 and then use within the function search in various functions. Please see the mentioned Kb and UDI for more information on how this works.
