Benefit Plan Update Errors

We are encountering the following error on a few plans and can't figure out how to fix them: "Employee benefit for this change cannot be in status Plan Update or Inactive"

We have confirmed they are in a "Plan Update" status. It seems to create new Employee Benefits in this status each time you re-run the Benefit Plan update.

Has anybody had this issue before? What steps did you take to remedy?

Search "EmployeeBenefits" and open the business class. From there search the employee with issue's employee id and see if there's anything there that is not finalized. If you see a record there that isn't finalize, you can delete and then try to run the benefit plan update once more.
