Modifying standard behavior of OIS260 with XtendM3

Hello, 

Is it possible to modify a standard job in M3 using XtendM3?

I'm looking more into BatchAPI but I'm not sure how to do it exactly. Basically OIS260 is used to recalculate all the sales price of Customer Orders but we want to add a custom behavior during this job process.

In Interactive programs the trigger based extensions are built into foundation. This can be done because of the common structure of the Interactive programs - The panel structure A/B/E/F.... Therefore interactive programs all have XtendM3 triggers.

For batch job the structure is not in place. So you need to get a technical consultant to look at  the submitted job from OIS260 and see if there is a trigger you can use. If not you need to order it through an enhancement request. This is the same process as if you need a new API.

The BatchAPI has nothing to do with trigger extensions in M3. This is used for building a XtendM3 batch program.
