Question: is there a way to not have the Reason Code Account details override the Account Group defaults when creating an inventory transaction?
Adjustment example:
The Account Group is set up to use 62108 when adjusting this item:

When no reason code is used on an adjustment inventory transaction, it defaults as we would expect:

However, when a reason code is used, 62100 overrides 62108 because 62100 is on the Reason Code account:

This Reason Code account cannot be blank. Perhaps we are utilizing Reason Codes in a way not intended (i.e., a simple "categorization" flag for various transactions). We do not want this account to override what is actually set up at the account group, and we certainly would not want to duplicate various reason codes to match all the different possible accounts.
This behavior is making us think that we should not be using Reason Codes the way we are and instead simply instruct our staff to only utilize the line comments for this additional "categorization" detail.
If anyone has information or guidance on where one might change this prioritization or behavior, we would certainly appreciate the input.
