Update on FACTS 7.8 Release Date

On the Distribution Domain Call last week we announced that 7.8 would officially be delayed. I wanted to make sure that all why may not have been able to attend received the same message here on the Community Site.

We are confident that we will begin the LA for 7.8 late Oct 2012. With a 30-45 day LA Cycle, we anticipate GA late December 2012.

In order to ensure we meet these targets we have delayed the following features:

- Finish DO Class and Sub-Class Definitions
- Language Work (includes 14 GUI conversions, multi-lingual forms, resolving bitmaps that have English language references on them, and the initial sign-on screen knowing what language the user is running)
- Resource Manager access from Inquiry and BCC
- Transfers in the BCC
- BCC Exporting to Excel
- Some remaining, minor changes for international addresses
