Change Actor of Scheduled IPA or Replication

Hi,

I have quite a few Scheduled Replications and IPA Flows that were scheduled under my own User account. We recently created an Admin User that has its own login account to Infor. We'd like to have everything scheduled under that Admin account.

Is there a better way to change the Actor that the Replications and IPA Flows are scheduled under other than logging in as the Admin User and recreating the schedules one by one?

If I go to Async and Edit, the Actor and Authenticated Actor are grayed out so I can't change them.

We asked Support this same question about a year or two ago and were told logging in as Admin and recreating was the only way. Curious as well if anyone has found a better method!

One thing we're concerned about is if scheduled processes/replications no longer work when someone leaves and their account is deactivated (and the items were scheduled under their account).

Did you ever run into any issues with scheduled processes/replications no longer working when the account that they were scheduled under was deactivated?

I thought I'd document some findings.

I put in an Incident with Infor and also brought up this question of Bulk Updating Actors in an Infor Webinar. In the Incident response, they confirmed that the Actor or Authenticated Actor cannot be changed through IPA. It hits LPL Code that specifically prevents the Actor and Authenticated Actor from being modified in an Async Request and the LPL code cannot be modified.

The suggestion was made in the Infor Webinar that Infor Spreadsheet Designer (ISD) could be used. I found the AsyncActionRequest Business Class and tried to do an Update. You can change almost all fields in the Scheduled Request except the Actor/Authenticated Actor. It gives an error message on the row when you do an update.

The next attempt was to do a Create instead of an Update in ISD (then disable/delete the old ones separately). I logged into ISD as the Actor that we want the schedules to run under (in our case, InforAdmin). ISD will tag the owner as whoever you are logged into ISD as...not what is in the actual Actor/Authenticated Actor field. The Create did create the new schedule under the InforAdmin account and APPEARED to be correct, but when it reached the scheduled time, it did not fire. This suggests that there is more to it than just adding a record to the AsyncActionRequest Business Class.

At that point, I gave up and recreated the schedules through the front end, which took several hours.

If anyone has found a way to bulk update Actors in scheduled processes (Replications, Process Flows), please share it. It seems like a lot of people would like that capability.
