Alias category 3 in order entry OIS101

Hi all!

we are using an external database which provides us with their alias numbers. In our previous versions of M3, we could use alias category 3 upon order entry in OIS101/B1. This seems no longer to be an option. Does anyone have any alternatives?

Not sure if you just need a field for reference, or if you expect specific functionality associated with this as well.

Adding a Custom field on the Panel is easy enough using CMS080 though.

I need to be able to look up the item using the alias number. For other alias categories, we can use the search sequesnce in OIS101, but for alias ct 3 this seems not to be possible.

I tried real quick and I can still search on Category 3 (although it says it is not used in M3) using Browse Option=12 as per below.

I added it easily enough in MMS025 - Sort Order 31

Is there anything else I am missing?

You're very close :-) But in fact it would be even better to insert the alias number direclty on the item line without going to browse every time.
