Submit API details

Hello community,

I would like to have some details about the submit API and the itemdatafile setup if i want to store back in IDM a .pdf document which is the result of a merge.

input parameter:

I suppose that this itemdatafile contains the required attributes to store back the file (document type, attribute1, attribute2...) but how to do this ?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Maxime,

If I understand you correctly you want to archive a document trough IDM Output API using target item. It is not clear in the documentation but the layout for the target is like this:

where base64 is a base64 encoded item xml which contains information about the document type and attributes. The layout for this xml like this:

So you need to create an xml file this to include document type an attributes, then encode it to base64 and add it in the item target.
