rep set scripting

HI, everyone!

  I often have to turn a bunch of rep sets off and on as part of our routine maintenance.  It occurred to me that this would be a great thing to automate if I had access to a web API, or something like that.  I would like to write a script that sends a request to the server to enable or disable rep sets as needed.  Does anyone know if such a capability exists?

Isolate the "bunch of rep sets" into a separate Aysnc queue with Queue Mappings and Suspend the queue part of routine maintenance?

In general Rep Sets are just the ReplicationSet businessclass and Aync are also just business classes as well. They both would be surfaced behind Landmark web services or ION API layers.
