Continually errors of 'Variable ????? not found' which then corrupts frt/frx's

Hi all,

Just wondering if anyone else has come across the issue whereby Opera3 crashes with an error for example

'Variable 'AX_DONE' is not found (this will be relational to the process they are running) and always down on the client side.

Which we have found that this then causes the frt or frx to become corrupt and on copying it back it fixes the problem.

I feel it is AV doing it but customer is adamant it is not - they are using Windows Defender.

We also have the issue that when we get on the server and open Opera3, you have to wait for around 2-3 minutes before being able to get into anything - the 'Switch To/Retry' appears up and we just have to wait? again I think screams AV?

Any help or advice greatly appreciated.

Almost certainly AV but you would need to provide some evidence and that means using Process Monitor to see what is accessing FRXFRT files.
