Reconciliation of Production Order Variances

Hello All,

We are struggling to reconcile production order variances in our 10.7 system.  Apparently, there is no report in LN to help us determine why the GL numbers don't match up with the variances.  How did you solve this problem?  Custom Report?

I reached out to our Finance team.  They have the same issue as you do, though they have not asked for a custom report yet (however my asking them may trigger the request...

Currently they will perform a reconciliation for individual order variances back to the production order manually on an as needed basis.

One thing they did find out is that calculating and posting variances is largely impacted by the costing parameters.  Currently we have ours set to only post variances when an order is closed (though initially at implementation variances were set up to be posted upon receipt to Finished Goods).  The original setting caused quite a few issues for them at the start of our go-live.
