Please take a moment to help endorsement an enhancement request i've placed to assist with auditing. We have come across various times and scenarios where changes made to the system would be more helpful able to trace not only who made the changes but where the changes came from. We eventually became aware of various Infor Spreadsheet Designer spreadsheets that were being used. These spreadsheets were being used in the manner to correct or 'fix' errors or issues being created in error by another process. As of today there is no record or audit field stating what method was used to make a change.
In summary -
1st IPA/process running on schedule. Data is updated or created but with issues. Departments reviewing the data create a 2nd process to correct data.
If auditing were available to see changes made by ISD method this would allow the IT department to assess and realize inefficiency etc. Having the ability to see changes made by ISD would be beneficial in several different positive ways. I know many auditors that would be happier seeing mass changes made with as much auditing data to verify it's source or method for making changes.
