Loading packaging / container types

Does anyone know of a place to add the packing container type and associate it to an item? (Drum, pail, tote, etc.)

DOT has informed us that the container must be identified on the BOL. I do not see anywhere in the system where we have the container identified and associated to the item.

Any help is appreciated!

Thanks! this gets me started. But it looks like that links it to the customer. Is it possible to link it just to the item?

We use MMS053 and leave the customer field blank. This associates the item to packaging within a specific warehouse.

I had an internal suggestion to try using MMS001 - screen I , Transport Packaging (TRPA). Easy to update and setup during product setup. Does anyone know if this has any adverse effects?

We use the same set-up as mentioned before by Doug.

MMS050 to set-up pakaging then MMS053 to link packaging to item and finnaly we have product structures that also have the consumables (packaging items)
