Dear M3 Community,
I hope this message finds you well. I am reaching out to seek your assistance regarding the process of creating an MRP Night Run schedule in Infor M3.
Here is a summary of the steps I have followed thus far:
-
Job Schedule Category (SHS050): I created a Job Schedule Category with defined From and To times to establish the timing parameters for the Night Run.
-
Job Schedule Function (SHS030): I opened the Job Schedule Function and updated the Function as "SHS100". I assigned the preferred Job Schedule Category, program as "SHS998", Job as "SHS999CL", and Application as "MPM" in SHS030.
-
Job Schedule Program (SHS031): Moving to SHS031, I created a Job Schedule program using the program "SHS998" and Display file "SHS998DSP".
-
Job Identity Setup (SHS100): Next, in the SHS100 system maintenance program, I created a Job Identity named MMS999. I updated the description, user name, and selected all the necessary checkboxes.
-
Standard Program Selection (SHS101): Proceeding to SHS101, I selected all the standard programs associated with the MRP process.
-
Company and Division Selection: Returning to SHS100/B1, I right-clicked and selected the Company and Division for the job.
-
Schedule Setup and Time Zone: After running the program, I updated the time zone and scheduled the job for specific days. I can see the job status updated to 10 in SHS010 Job Schedule Entry Update.
Despite following these steps, I am encountering an issue where the PO, DO, or CO proposals are not visible in MMS080. However, if I manually trigger the MRP calculation in MMS080, it generates the desired proposal.
I kindly request your assistance and expertise in identifying the correct process for configuring the MRP Night Run in Infor M3. If you have experience in setting up a successful MRP Night Run, I would greatly appreciate any insights or guidance you can provide.
Please feel free to share any suggestions, best practices, or potential areas where I might have missed a crucial step. Your support will be invaluable in helping me resolve this issue and ensure a smooth MRP Night Run process.
Thank you all in advance for your time and willingness to assist. I look forward to your responses and engaging in fruitful discussions.
